A 45 minute learning experience with a Zoo educator about habitats and animal needs. Students focus on one Australian animal that they meet  and study in the session. The students then build a habitat for it.

This session relates to themes in biological sciences in the Australian Curriculum and the cross-curriculum priority sustainability. Themes explored include features of habitats and animal needs; including food, water and physical features of Australian animals that help them survive and thrive in habitats.
