Conservation Leadership

Using the Monarto Zoo environment and a range of activities, students will explore personal development and group dynamics that enable them to understand their role and place within groups.

Individuals and groups are encouraged to go MAD (Make A Difference) for conservation once they leave the zoo.

Further information

A zoo visit will require you to have bus transport available for the duration of your stay. For overnight stays the bus must remain onsite per safety protocols.

Cost: Day program: $14pp includes zoo entry and Safari Tour. Overnight program: $45pp self catered.
Participants: Day program: as negotiated. Overnight program: minimum 20 students, maximum 35

Organising your visit

Prior to booking, refer to the Monarto Zoo website for detailed information regarding expectations and programs.

Programs can be modified to meet your requirements. Discuss pre or post activities that may be beneficial. Consider excursion planning expectations of the school and clarify any questions with zoo education staff.

Ensure your required ratio of students to adults and remember to be sun smart.
