Habitats and Animal Needs: Reception to Year 3
This program includes an introductory 45 minute session related to themes in Biological sciences in the Australian Curriculum and the Cross-curriculum priority sustainability. Themes explored during the 45 minute session include features of habitats, animal needs; including food and water and physical features of Australian animals that help them survive and thrive in habitats.
Teachers can access PDF learning resources from the Zoos SA website that provide information for a self-facilitated inquiry about habitats and animal needs linked to the Australian Curriculum.
When: Term 1-4

To be negotiated on booking. Bookings must be made at least one week in advance.
Level: F, 1, 2, 3
Cost: $35 per class for the introductory session. Entry fee $10 per student, $8 equity
Participants: Maximum of 33 students
Duration: 45 minutes
