Mobile Photography Workshops

Unlock your students’ creative and artistic sides and learn about the many features of mobile devices (phones and tablets) to take amazing botanic photos in one of our beautiful botanic gardens.

Bring your class of Year 4 to Year 12 students to Mount Lofty Botanic Garden to capture its stunning autumn display on a mobile device.

Students will work with a Botanic Gardens Educator on three topics:

  • Mobile device photography skills
  • Up close – photography using a 30x lens attachment
  • Editing photos using mobile software (Apps)

What to bring:

A mobile device (tablet or phone) for each student.

Free app “snapseed” will need to be installed on each device prior to the visit

If you already have a learning experience in mind and would like to book an educator to lead your students on this trail, please fill in this booking request form and email back to DEWNRBGSchools@sa.gov.au.
