Adelaide Festival Centre’s centrED presents a unique year-long professional learning program for teachers with the opportunity to experience a select range of live performance and workshops. This year’s package includes workshops and performances for the following productions.

Femme – Winner of Best Dance in the Adelaide Fringe 2019, and having just completed performances in Reykjavik, Edinburgh and Stockholm, FEMME is one woman’s search for self in a world of gender and sexual conditioning. FEMME explores concepts of femininity and female sexuality, the female body, the gender roles we conform to, or break against, and what it means to be powerful in a largely masculine dominant culture.

The Bridge of San Luis Rey – In this thrilling reimagining of Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer-winning novel, Adelaide’s celebrated Brink Productions brings their unique theatricality to a daisy chain of stories and coincidence that leads to five strange to meet their fate.

Humans – Ten acrobats from award-winning contemporary circus ensemble Circa take us on a stirring journey of what it means to be human and how our bodies, our connections and our aspirations all form part of who we are.

*FOR THE FEMME WORKSHOP WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES YOU CAN DANCE IN.
