Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium

Learn about the fascinating world of plants and their importance to all life on earth in the Adelaide, Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens.

Students from all age groups will learn about science, the environment, wellbeing and so much more while spending time in these beautiful living museums.

Engage with self-guided, or educator led experiences that cover a range of topics from Aboriginal Plant Use to Plant Adaptations to surviving a year on Mars with the Space Botany program! As part of the education programs, there is a variety of online and onsite teacher professional development, to support educators in connecting with the Botanic Gardens and wider natural environment.

To discuss a program, or for more information, please visit the website or contact the Education Team.
