About Us

The Outreach Education program is a partnership between the South Australian Department for Education and South Australia’s major creative and cultural organizations.

The South Australian Department for Education has long recognised the importance of partnerships with external organisations which provide students with learning environments, experiences and resources, as well as professional learning opportunities for teachers.

The Outreach Education program provides all preschools and schools with access to education staff across a range of cultural organisations, partners and precincts that deliver quality, curriculum-aligned learning experiences and programs for South Australian teachers and students, unlocking the unique collections, exhibitions, performances, resources, and expertise they hold.
