Windmill Theatre Co

Windmill Theatre creates and presents unique and contemporary theatre shows inspired by the vibrancy, modern sophistication and inventiveness of young people. Since our inception in 2002, we have showcased our work to audiences far and wide, earning a global reputation as a leading producer of theatre for children, teenagers, and families.

Our award-winning Education Program bring together artists, educators and students to nurture the creativity and lateral thinking of young people, prioritising access for socio-economic and geographically disadvantaged students. Through our initiatives, we actively facilitate incredible experiences for students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access live performance.

In addition to providing dedicated school’s performances and pricing for every South Australian season of our work, we offer students and educators a range of opportunities to engage with us and our artists. These include: a community equity program which sees us provide 15% of tickets free of charge to disadvantaged schools, in-school workshops, professional development for teachers, study guides and learning resources and work experience opportunities.
