Law Courts

The South Australian Law Courts comprise Magistrates Court, District Court and Supreme Court that deal with civil, criminal and administrative matters. Within this arrangement of courts are a range of specialist courts including the Youth Court and Environment Resources and Development Court.

Teachers can book class visits to the Adelaide Magistrates Court and access the online resources which are designed to help students understand the way in which courts work, in particular the role played by courts as ethical decision-makers. Other court locations can also provide a focus of the visit.
