The Lifecycles session is a 45 minute learning experience related to themes in Biological sciences in the Australian Curriculum and the Cross-curriculum priority, sustainability. Themes explored during the session include
- Understanding that living things grow, change and have offspring.
- Explore some of the many different ways in which animals grow and develop
- Growth and development of an animal doesn’t stop at birth – the life cycle continues throughout an animal’s life.
Students are given the opportunity to reflect on what it takes for an animal to have a successful life cycle. A self-guided resource is provided for students to continue the learning after the session.
