This eBook has been designed to support teachers with facilitating student learning in the visual arts.
Through the medium of Aboriginal bark painting, students can explore the form, styles and contexts of these works. Videos are embedded in the eBook so students can view the techniques and processes used to create bark paintings and listen to an anthropologist’s perspective.
Students are asked to respond to inquiry questions in the eBook based on the years 7 and 8 Australian Curriculum: The Arts and to create their own representations.
