Animal Features: Reception to Year 3
The Animal features: Junior wildlife session is a 45 minute learning experience related to themes in Biological sciences in the Australian Curriculum and the Cross-curriculum priority, sustainability. Themes explored during the session include animal survival features in relation to their environment and each other. They explore concepts of animal growth and development while meeting a friendly Australian mammal or reptile in a safe learning environment.
Teachers can access PDF learning resources from the Zoos SA website that provide information for a self-facilitated inquiry about Australian animals or habitat linked to the Australian Curriculum.
When: Term 1-4

Booking must be made at least one week in advance.
Level: F, 1, 2, 3
Cost: Program: $2.00 per student. Plus entry fee $12 per student, $8 equity
Participants: Maximum of 33 students
Duration: Approx. 45 minutes
