Dolphin Discovery
With a strong focus on Science Understanding and Science as a Human Endeavour, students learn about the Port River dolphin pod and environmental issues they face.
Students participate in a half hour workshop with a Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) dolphin expert and enrich their learning with a cruise on the Port River, using a hydrophone to explore the home of the bottle nose dolphins.
Time is given for students to view the dolphin exhibition inside the museum and navigate from the top of the historic Port Adelaide lighthouse. Complete your visit with a hands-on play and marine dress up session in our Rockpool area
