About

A new Learning Guide has just been released to support the National Motor Museum’s Hawker Vans primary education program.
The Hawker Vans program invites students to adopt the role of an early twentieth century hawker, preparing their vehicle for travel, loading up their wares and spruiking their goods to other students.
The new Hawker Vans Learning Guide provides educators with pre-visit and post-visit activities designed to help contextualise and deepen student learning beyond their excursion.
Hawker Vans
Audience: Year 1 to 5 students
Where: National Motor Museum
Cost: $11.00 per student, including museum entry (equity pricing available)
Bookings: To book, visit https://education.history.sa.gov.au/request-a-booking-for-a-school-visit/
Visit the History Trust of South Australia’s Education website to explore the new Learning Guides for all our education programs, including those at the South Australian Maritime Museum: https://education.history.sa.gov.au/excursions/
