The Art Gallery of South Australia offers dynamic education programs that engage students and educators with art.

Our education programs include tours and workshops and are designed to connect with the Australian Curriculum and to enhance critical and creative thinking in students of all ages and abilities. We explore and promote visual literacy, histories and cultures, performance, writing, communication, and stimulate student imagination through responding, drawing and making activities.

Discover the many ways we can also support your teaching and learning. As part of our educator programs, we run teacher exclusives and professional learning, onsite and online. Events range from practical workshops to networking opportunities and briefings on new exhibitions and artist practices.

AGSA also can deliver tailored workshops for you and your colleagues at professional development days at your school or deliver these exclusively for your staff in the Gallery. Browse the For Educators page on the AGSA website to see what is on offer.
