This resource is designed to support teachers plan their visit and help students access works of art in the Gallery.
Within this are some strategies which educators may employ when taking their students on a self-guided tour of the Gallery. The emphasis in this resource is on the importance of looking and unpacking a visual art without the need for contextual information.
This resource is not designed for a specific exhibition, but rather can be used for any exhibition, temporary or permanent.

Please note some permanent and temporary displays may contain content that is not suitable for all visitors. It is recommended teachers visit the Gallery prior to an excursion as a risk assessment strategy.
